Tina Fey - Finally a replacement for Will Ferrell

So I am watching Mean Girls on the W network on a Saturday morning, sipping green tea, and my husband says "Tina Fey wrote this, did you know?". No...I didn't, but it doesn't surprise me, and of course I haven't seen this for years, and didn't recall that she and other SNL faves had cameos on it. Sad to see Lindsay when she was still innocent and fresh-faced. Hollywood is all a bit twisted, and I will tell you right now that you honestly couldn't pay me enough to have to deal with a life like hers or our other hollywood tartlets. But I digress. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning...

  1. Tina Fey a replacement for Will Ferrell? I don't think so, they are both masters of comedy. I thought Tina's comments on the Golden Globes was superb. It wasn't until recently that I found out Tina used to be a head writer on SNL. On the SNL 25th anniversary show, Tom Hanks did a great skit on Fellell's superb talent.
    My Saturday noon thoughts.

  2. Yeah...sorry. I don't love WF. His style of humour is very one-dimensional, in my opinion, and I have had enough. However, if he was to branch off and stick to fresh screenplays by others, such as Stranger than Fiction (great film), then I might become a fan.
